Duffy books 📚

Today I got 2 duffy books. They are called Scream and Baby-sitters club: Mary Anne’s bad luck mystery. I chose them because I like baby-sitters club and I like horror books. I would of chose The puppy who couldn’t sleep by Holly Webb, but I think I liked the sound of the books I chose better.

Here are picture of the books I chose:

My favourite book series is probably Harry potter.

Have you got a favourite series?

Scratch animation making

Today we have been making a short animation from scratch. My Friend Charlie helped me to make this animation of the spinning animals in the galaxy. You have to answer what the animals are saying and they also follow your mouse around. It was very confusing to make.

Here is the link to our animation:

Shouting at the rain challenge activity

In reading we have been reading novels and the one I am reading one called Shouting at the rain. Anyway we had to do a challenge activity after we completed the other ones. The activity is where we fill out the questions with the part you’re up to in the book. The book is good so far, because it’s exciting to find out what happens next.

WLJ – Task 2

For the Winter learning Journey I decided to try task 2, Making Breakfast for your parents but it has to be winter themed. For this task I made a Bacon and Egg Roll for my family on our Mid Winter/year Christmas.

Here are some photos of me making it:

WLJ – Task 4

For the Winter Learning Journey Task 4, I had to create something in Minecraft that had to do with winter, then build inside of it. My first thought on what to do for this task was a snowman so I tried to make one.

Heres how mine turned out (Outside):

The prodigal son – Activitys

Today we have been learning about the Parable, The Prodigal Son, then doing an Activity slide about it. The Prodigal Son is about 2 sons and a father that lives on a farm, when the younger brother asks for his dad’s money. The father says yes, so the younger brother leaves and spends money. He soon runs out of money and goes back to his father to say sorry, and the father throws a party (Rest of the story is on slide).

The message of the story is that God always forgives us no matter what happens.

This is the slide:

The Good Samaritan – Activity

Today we have been answering Questions on a slide about The bible story   The Good Samaritan. If you have never heard of that bible story it’s a parable about, a man that gets attacked by bad guys and is badly hurt. When a priest comes along he looks at the man then leaves. The same happens with a guy that works at a temple. Next a Samaritan comes along (Jews and Samaritans hate each other) and helps him! He takes the badly hurt man to an Inn and pays for food and water.

The moral of this parable is to always help someone in need, no matter where you’re from.
